Stimpson Avenue Academy is a large, vibrant, multicultural primary school located in Northampton town centre with 442 children on roll. We are looking to expand our team and need committed and experienced teachers.  Successful candidates are likely to be outstanding teachers who understand the full expectations of working within the remit of the Professional Standards for Teachers. You will need to work as part of a team and be able to keep pace in a rapidly developing and fast moving academy.

We are recruiting:

We are primarily recruiting a teacher to cover maternity absence in a Year 4 class.  If you are an experienced KS2 teacher, and you would like to work with us at our school, we would be very interested to hear from you.

VACANCY – Teaching Assistant

27.5  hours per week (to be discussed at interview)

39 weeks per year (term time – 38 weeks plus one week Training Days)

Salary:    £10,719 - £10,916 (Actual Pay) - (Level 2)

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) with experience to join a team of committed Practitioners providing high quality education.  You will work under the direction of the teacher but also need to have the confidence to work independently with children in small groups. Experience at Primary level, particularly SEN, is required.

 

Applicants are asked to give information about their previous experience in schools.

 

The successful candidate will need to have:

·         Caring attitude

·         Experience at Primary level

·         Good Communication skills

·         Ability to deal professionally with children, parents and staff

·         Ability to promote positive role models

·         Able to use own initiative and help to develop personalised learning

·         Knowledge of child development

·         General understanding of Primary Education

·         Appropriate level of data protection, security and confidentiality awareness
