Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration

National celebrations for the Queen's 90th Birthday took place during the week commencing Monday 6th June. At Stimpson Avenue, we celebrated the event on Friday 10th June.

In collaboration with Helping Hands, we held lots of exciting events throughout the day which started with a whole school assembly where we learnt about the role of the Queen, the importance of her reign and how we promote British Values across our school.

The children were invited to come in red, white or blue mufti and we held a 'Best Crown' competition followed by a Great Crown Parade!

To mark the occasion, Helping Hands presented each child with a beautiful embossed bookmark to remind the children of this exciting occasion at school for many years to come!

Helping Hands hosted a Great Stimpson Bake Off competition which was judged by our school council and at the end of the day they hosted a garden party where parents, carers and children were all invited for a slice of cake.

The entries to the Bake Off competition were phenominal; we have some truly talented bakers here at Stimpson!
