Guildhall Visit 2016
After the success of last year's student council meeting with Danielle Stone, our local councillor, we had an amazing opportunity for some of our Year 6 children to visit the Guildhall and hold a 'live debate' about whether the voting age should be lowered to 16. The Year 6 children entered a competition sharing their view points on the debate and the winners were then selected according to their presentations. Twenty lucky winners took part in the visit to the Guildhall where they enjoyed a debate in the chambers, holding the Mace and receiving a badge. A massive thank you to Danielle Stone, who provided our school with such a special opportunity.
